Demon Slayer S3 Episode 5 dropped a few hours ago as the fans are still awestruck by the level of animation in it. With many developments occurring in a single episode, fans are left desperate for more content.

Episode 5 had the customary “unlimited budget” animation of Ufotable. The fight between Tanjiro and the clones of Hantengu reached a vital point too in the episode. He could finally overpower these clones and cut off their heads with Nezuko’s help. However, Hantengu is yet not dead. Even though Tanjiro and Genya have decapitated all the clones, Hantengu still remains alive in Demon Slayer S3.

Hantengu still remains alive, even after all the visible clones have been decapitated. However, this is not the end of Hantengu’s clones of abilities. To begin with, he still has two other forms left- his original form, and Urami, the embodiment of resentment.

Moreover, he has an ultimate trick up his sleeve. He can combine all the four forms that are defeated by Tanjiro and Genya, and turn them into a supreme demon. This is Hantengu’s most powerful form known as Zohakuten in Demon Slayer S3. The sheer presence of this monstrosity was enough to almost knock Tanjiro out of his senses. Even when Mitsuri, the Love Hashira activated her Demon Slayer Mark, she was knocked out cold by Zohakuten’s sonic beam.

Conclusion

In the end, Tanjiro somehow defeats Zohakuten with sunlight as Hantengu tries to escape with Urami. That is the end of Hantengu, as he is killed too. Therefore, there is still a long way to go before Hantengu is dead in Demon Slayer S3 as the biggest challenge still awaits.
