Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 4 has already taken the combat to an even higher echelon as Tanjiro struggles to fight against Hantengu and his clones. Moreover, it is time for another threat to be revealed in the form of Gyokko, the Upper Moon Five.
Season 3 will be the first time where two Upper Moon demons will be the prime antagonists. However, fans will also be able to enjoy the screen time of two Hashiras this season, Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji. Hantengu himself was a massive threat with all his clones, and now Gyokko will be there too. Thus fans are inquisitive about Gyokko and his abilities as the Upper Moon Five. Hence, here is the article that throws light upon Gyokko’s strengths and abilities in Demon Slayer Season 3.

Exploring Gyokko’s strengths and abilities in Demon Slayer Season 3
Gyokko is one of the strongest demons in the entire series as he is a part of the Upper Moons in the Twelve Kizuki. He will prove to be a way tougher challenge compared to Gyutaro and Daki in Season 2, as he has a plethora of varying abilities. He can easily take down even the strongest Demon Slayers with ease.

His Blood Demon Art enables him to use his porcelain vases as his prime combat weapon. He can bring forth creatures, tentacles, traps, and various other deadly tools of combat from his vase.
Gyokko can even turn into his true form and liberate himself from his vase, which grants him an immense boost in all of his specifications. Alongside his immense speed, reflexes, regenerative abilities, and attacks, he also possesses highly destructive attacks that even had Muichiro Tokito on the ropes.
Gyokko’s physical abilities in Demon Slayer Season 3

As mentioned earlier, Gyokko is one of the strongest demons in the entire series as the Upper Moon Five. Therefore, he possesses immeasurably powerful physical abilities such as:
- Flesh manipulation: Gyokko can manipulate his flesh and take up various forms and can even grow short arms from his face when beheaded.
- Speed, Reflexes, and Regeneration: Gyokko can regenerate his severed parts indefinitely and has immense attack speed and reflexes. He is one of the fastest demons in the entire series as even Muichiro Tokito’s attacks feel slow compared to him.
Alongside these, he also does not feel any pain and has infinite stamina. However, all these abilities pale in comparison to his unnatural Blood Demon Art.
Gyokko’s Blood Demon Art in Demon Slayer Season 3

Gyokko has the ability to manipulate an infinite amount of porcelain pots and the entire dimensional space inside them. He can trap people by squeezing them into the pots and killing them in the process. In Episode 3, he captured one swordsmith and killed him mercilessly by crushing him inside his vase.

Moreover, the space inside the vases or pots is his free territory. He can teleport in between them and can even bring forth creatures out of them to run havoc. In Episode 4 of the Swordsmith Village arc, the entire village was attacked by an army of fish demons that came out of his pots. He can even pull out tentacles, traps, and powerful monsters to aid him in battle.
Gyokko can also create water from his pots and can trap targets and suffocate them to death in his water prison. Finally, he can summon 10 thousand slime fish to eat his targets and teleport from one vase to another, leaving nothing but bones.
In his true form, he can also deliver a barrage of AoE attacks that are enough to cut any humans in multiple pieces if they hit.
Conclusion

In the end, Gyokko is defeated and decapitated by a marked Muichiro Tokito, ending his proud and hateful life. Even in death, he did not budge from the fact that he is the prime life form on the planet. It seemed like Muzan was the only person he did not hate.
This was everything you had to learn about Gyokko and his abilities.
