Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 spoilers have been leaked onto the internet, fulfilling fans’ expectations and finally launching into the much-awaited fight between the two strongest characters in the series. The Gojo vs. Sukuna fight has been a topic which has been hotly debated within the fandom, with a majority of people agreeing that Sukuna at full-strength will likely be stronger than Satoru Gojo, despite the Six Eyes sorcerer’s arrogance.

Chapter 221 echoed the strongest sorcerer’s statement from the beginning of the series when Kenjaku questions his confidence, prompting Gojo to once again declare that he would win. The leaked spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 seem to have finally confirmed if his confidence has merit.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 leaked spoilers show Gojo making the first move, setting Sukuna up as the “challenger”

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 leaked spoilers reveal the title of the upcoming chapter to be “The Evildoers’ Hell Battle, Part 1,” and begin with Ijichi asking Gojo what it felt like to be trapped within the Prison Realm. A nonplussed Gojo remarks that it’s like going through a work week which was both too long and too short, adding that it feels like he has come to Shibuya again after a long time.

The Six Eyes sorcerer asks about the people who were caught within his Infinite Void, and Ijichi assures him that they have all recovered. The two walk up to the roof of a building where Utahime and Gakuganji are waiting, and Gojo gives them the signal to get started. The spoilers also reveal a perplexed Uraume asking how they would know where the battle would take place, while Sukuna declares that there is no need for that since he can sense a powerful aura of cursed energy from a building in the distance.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 raw scans take a small detour to a flashback, where Gakuganji informs Gojo that he killed Yaga, but the Six Eyes does not react too much, simply asking about the Jujutsu High principal’s last words. The elderly sorcerer confesses that Yaga had divulged the secret to his Cursed Corpse technique, wondering why they did not resent him for his actions. But Gojo remarks that Gakuganji has changed a lot, considering that he did not reveal the technique to the higher-ups.

The leaked spoilers then show that the higher-ups had all been brutally murdered, with a comment from Gojo who states that with Gakuganji as leader, the jujutsu world might be a better place. The flashback also shows a confused Ijichi asking why Gojo wanted his help out of everyone else, prompting the sorcerer to tell him that it was because he trusted the former more than anyone else.

The chapter text clarifies that her technique, Solo Solo Kinku, increases the cursed energy output of any sorcerer’s technique, including her own.

The scans suggest that the chapter is somewhat text-heavy, explaining how the skill of a sorcerer lies in how many steps they can omit while activating their technique. But Gojo, Ijichi, Utahime, and Gakuganji all perform each and every step carefully to activate their technique, and Gojo fires off a 200% powered up Hollow Purple at Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 leaked spoilers show the buildings in Hollow Purple’s path being destroyed, as Sukuna struggles to guard himself against the attack. Due to Ijichi’s barrier, the King of Curses senses the energy but fails to notice the huge amount of cursed energy being launched at him until the last minute.

Sukuna’s arm is burnt and destroyed in his attempt to block Hollow Purple, and Gojo appears before him. The sorcerer taunts the King of Curses, declaring that the latter was the challenger here, rather than the champion that he imagined himself to be. The chapter ends with Sukuna looking furious and menacing as he stares Gojo off.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 leaked spoilers suggest that Gojo’s confidence is more than empty words, with his conviction lying in his skills. The raw scans also hint that Gojo may have killed all the higher-ups himself, this being one of the things he wanted to get done before fighting the King of Curses.

None of the other Jujutsu High sorcerers seem to appear in the chapter, indicating that Kenjaku’s sorcerer hunt might not go as smoothly as the body-hopping sorcerer hopes. Sukuna’s nervousness might be a sign that the mummified body he had consumed instead of the twentieth finger did not bridge the difference between their power levels. But it is too soon to tell how the battle will progress.
