Kizuna Ai is the first V-Tuber to get an Anime adaptation! After almost 6 years in the industry, V-tuber sensation Kizuna Ai will be stepping into the realm of anime. In her own anime TV series titled “Kizuna no Allele” releasing in 2023.

The anime was first announced in February this year during her live concert “Hello World, 2022” before going on an indefinite hiatus. En Morikura, the character designer of Kizuna Ai, released a special visual.

The official Kizuna Ai Twitter has announced that the anime has entered production. Just a key visual has been revealed based on the announcement, so fans are still left wondering whether the series will be a full-blow series, a movie, music, or a short OVA.

During Kizuna Ai’s indefinite hiatus, her goal is to further develop herself. Her management laid out the policy in regard to her indefinite hiatus in a different statement in those days.

Though she’s now on hiatus, the V-Tuber hinted at future projects, saying “I think you’ve been hearing words, for example, metaverse and NFT as of late. It sounds confounded yet new and fun simultaneously.”
