Mashle: Magic and Muscles Episode 3, titled Mash Burnedead and the Baleful Bully has just dropped in, creating hype in the global fandom about Mash and Lloyd’s relationship with each other. They have been seen going against each other and the latter is trying his best to bully Mash the whole time. Fans are really curious to know where this duo will end up in the future.
Mash and Lloyd has opened the gates to a new duo arising in the anime. The 3rd episode of Mashle: Magic and Muscles which was released on April 22, 2023, did play an important role in bringing up the dynamics of the said duo.

Where it all began
During a lock and spell class, Lloyd gave a sinister smirk when he noticed Mash skillfully break a lock without using magic. The latter then set a new speed record in broom riding, which annoyed Lloyd. When one of Lloyd’s underlings tried to provoke Mash, the former stepped in to stop the fight. He then introduced himself to Mash, who misunderstood his name as “Roid Castle,” causing irritation.
Lloyd then suggested that they talk after school. Finn warned Mash that Lloyd is the son of an important figure in the Bureau of Magic and that any harm to him could result in expulsion. Later, Mash forgot about his meeting with Lloyd and instead focused on making cream puffs in the Adler homeroom, which angered the latter when he realized the other didn’t show up for their meeting.
What happened in Episode 3 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles
The 3rd episode of Mashle: Magic and Muscles titled, Mash Burnedead and the Baleful Bully, has opened a corner for the fans to pick a side in the rivalry between Mash and Lloyd who is said to be the bully. In it, Mash goes to his first broom-riding lesson after borrowing a broom from Finn. However, the former is unable to summon one due to his lack of magic.
A bully approaches Mash and challenges him to a race, wagering that Mash can’t compete without a broom. Mash, thinking quickly, throws the broom and jumps onto it, but only Finn can see what he did. The teacher and students believe that he set a world record, but the bully accuses him of cheating.
Vice-Principal Farman witnesses the incident and decides to punish Mash and Finn. In response, Mash attacks and threatens him by burying him in the floor. Later, he is called to the Principal’s office, where he learns that he has been issued a notice for expulsion. However, Principal Wahlberg does not approve of this and expresses hope that Mash can become a Divine Visionary in the future as the country needs people like him to stand up to evil.
Later, Mash is invited to play in a Duelo match representing Adler dorm against Lang dorm. He is unable to ride a broom due to his lack of magic, which wasn’t anything unusual.
What is this leading to?
Mash and Lloyd are the two main characters of the show at the moment, so fans have been seen enjoying their rivalry and are looking forward to the dynamic. Everyone is curious about what the next episode might bring to the rivalry; will it continue till one of them comes out to be victorious? or is it the beginning to a friendship?
