Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 224 will likely pick up where the previous chapter ended, showing Sukuna’s response to Gojo’s first attack. There is no doubt that the King of Curses will not take the offense of being labeled “the challenger” lying down, and fans will finally be able to witness Sukuna’s full strength.
The chapter might also reveal if ingesting the shinbutsu mummy’s head in place of the twentieth finger will affect his power level enough for the strongest sorcerer of the past to be cornered by Satoru Gojo. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 224 might also show Uraume losing their calm upon seeing Sukuna injured, prompting them to attack Utahime and Gakuganji.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 began with Ijichi asking Gojo what time felt like within the Prison Realm, who explained that it was like a hectic work week which passed by in an instant, but was taxing enough that one would not want to do it again. They travelled to the terrace of a building in Shibuya where Gakuganji and Utahime were waiting for them.
The chapter then switched to show flashbacks of Gakuganji confessing that he killed Yaga and being frustrated when the Six Eyes sorcerer did not appear angry. The sorcerer explained that he knew that Gakuganji was the epitome of a man “just following orders.” But Gojo was delighted upon realizing that the Kyoto principal had not reported the secrets of Yaga’s cursed corpse technique to the higher-ups, who had all been killed brutally, presumably by the Six Eyes sorcerer himself.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223 then returned to the present and unveiled Utahime’s cursed technique, Solo Forbidden Area, which enhanced the cursed energy output of any sorcerers of her choosing including herself. Gakuganji, Utahime, and Gojo executed every single step necessary for activating their techniques while Ijichi cast a barrier around them, enabling the Six Eyes sorcerer to release a 200% Hollow Purple in Sukuna’s direction.
The attack, hidden by Ijichi’s barrier, caught the King of Curses by surprise and destroyed one of his arms.
