Despite the pouring rain, Dabi’s flames cast a terrifying glow and heroes warned the people to avoid looking at it in order to avoid mass hysteria and panic.
But upon seeing the flames, Rei told Natsuo to look after Fuyumi and boarded one of the robots, instructing it to take her to the epicenter. When Endeavor noticed Rei approaching them while using her quirk to cool the flames down, he frantically told her to get away from there. A delirious Toya called out to his mother and she apologized to him, only to realize that Natsuo and Fuyumi had followed her as well.
My Hero Academia Chapter 388 showed the Todoroki siblings begging Toya to stop burning himself up, fearing that they would lose both their parents along with their eldest brother. Endeavor begged Toya to spare the others, wishing to be the one to atone for his sins and die with his son.
