The Book of Boba Fett has ended with our titular bounty hunter winning in Tatooine. We also see glimpses of what looks to be the third season of the Mandalorian. There were many takeaways in the show, from the appearance of Cad Bane to what seemingly felt like a transitional season for Din Djarin and Grogu. We got a post-credit scene, as is the trend with most Disney+ shows.

Cobb Vanth

In the post-credit scene, we see Cobb Vanth unconscious in a Bacta tank, recovering from his injuries. Many people suspected that he was still alive since he was not hit in any vital areas after Cad Bane shot him. Afterward, we see the mod Artist who’s responsible for the cybernetic enhancements on Fennec Shand. He raises a mechanical device and looks to be readying for an operation.

That means we may likely see Cobb Vanth return in the Mandalorian in a newer form. He’ll have enhancements like Shand, making him a deadlier adversary and a better ally in combat. It seems that his deputy didn’t have such a fortunate fate, as he took most of the blaster fire during the confrontation with Bane.

The Bacta tank is a medical device that’s known to heal serious injuries, preserving the body and promoting regeneration. One of the flashbacks during the series showcased the Mod Artist saving Fennec Shand’s life through implants.

What’s Next?

  • There are rumors that the Mandalorian will be returning to screens later this year. However, there are still two shows slated to appear on Disney+.
  • The first will be the Obi-Wan Kenobi series which will shine some light on some of the events after the Revenge of the Sith. Ewan McGregor will be returning to the role, along with Hayden Christensen who’ll return to his role as Anakin Skywalker.
