How to find the Baby Yoda Easter egg on Google?

Simply search for “Grogu” or “Baby Yoda” on Google. On doing so, you can find the tiny creature in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Google worked with Disney to ensure the accuracy of the Grogu search Easter egg, which is available on both mobile and desktop versions of Google Search. According to a Google representative, the Easter egg was not sponsored by Lucasfilm or Disney.

Lucas Bullen, Google’s lead engineer on the project, is a Star Wars fan himself. He expressed that the team wanted to recognize Grogu’s playful character. The Easter egg allows fans to interact with him while he practices his Force skills on the Search page.

Why is May the Fourth special for Star Wars fans?

The Star Wars saga has a massive global following and is the most widely followed film franchise in cinema history. Fans worldwide, regardless of race, language, or origin, celebrate May 4 in various ways, and numerous events are being organized.

It’s worth noting that the origins of this unique commemoration have nothing to do with cinema-related dates. Instead, it originated from a news article published in the British newspaper “London Evening News” on May 4, 1979.

The article reported that members of the UK Conservative Party congratulated Margaret Thatcher on her appointment as Prime Minister of the country. It used a pun on the iconic phrase from the film, “May the Force be with you”: “May the 4th Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations.”

So, gear up for an unforgettable Star Wars Day and join Baby Yoda on the Google search page, while also exploring the new shows on Disney+. May the Force be with you!
