The Yummy! Barbecue Under the Stars event has a lot of exciting things for players to engage with. The event is an event side-story, bringing the end of the Labyrinth Warriors storyline. Genshin characters get off their combat duties, turning their attention to delicious fish.
Travelers will need to to complete recipe books, for which they receive awards and Primogens. One of the more interesting things is the new mini-game where players grill fish. Players can access the event from the Special Event icon in the menu.
There are different degrees of grilling in the event:
- Raw fish
- Undercooked
- Fully Grilled
- Crispy
- Burnt
Different recipes require different degrees of grilling, and players can use the grill accordingly. Raw fish is served after being on the grill for a very short time, and will not change color at all. Undercooked fish will have some thick puffs of white steam coming off of it.
Fully grilled fish will be a bit brightly colored, with golden squares on them. Crispy fish will be undercooked or fully grilled on one side that faces up, and the other side must be on the grill until black smoke appears. The fish should be taken off the grill as soon as the black smoke appears.
Burnt fish, which is only used in one recipe, the Broke Through Dimensions, will have to be grilled till the fish turns dark with black smoke coming off it, and till a hole appears on the fish.
After grilling, players will be required to include the seasoning. Players will have to complete the Grilled Fish Archive by discovering recipes and cooking styles and will have to gift the fish to Shiki Taishou. This will increase the friendship level with Shiki Taishou, and players will receive a number of rewards according to the friendship level. Certain recipes will bring more friendship points than others.
