Release Date

The Lightning Thief fans have waited for so long to watch this new series and it’s high time Percy Jackson graces us with his demigod presence. The show was initially announced in 2020 and began production immediately in June 2022 after being greenlit by Disney+.

The famous Rick Riordan novels had 8 months to create the first season and earlier this week, production wrapped up. Disney hasn’t made any announcement regarding its debut but it was reportedly slated for release in late 2023 or early 2024. However, we’re going to have to take this information with a grain of salt. Even though filming is done, we just might have to wait for a few more months before we get to see Percy, Anna, and Grover uncover the truth and the mysteries of the Greek Gods’ existence on Earth.
