  • This special release is scheduled for April 13, 2023. The number of episodes for Treasure Chest of Courage has not yet been confirmed, nor has it been clarified if it will be a one-off special or a series.

What to expect from this new side story?

The above trailer revealed the opening theme, GOLD by PEOPLE 1, and the ending theme, Atemonaku by Aimer for the series.

In this special story, viewers will learn more about the Kage clan and witness a non-villainous portrayal of Prince Ouken. These implications suggest that flashbacks will feature heavily in the special. It will most likely take place within the Bosse Kingdom.

The initial series was produced by WIT Studio, helmed by director Yosuke Hatta. Scriptwriting duties were handled by Taku Kishimoto, while Atsuko Nozaki was responsible for character design. The music was composed by MAYUKO. This staff will most probably return in this side story too along with the cast.
