The controversy around the White House Pride party escalated because of Rose Montoya, a polyamorous model and advocate for trans rights. The activist had an opportunity to meet President Biden on the South Lawn.

However, her subsequent actions resulted in a major controversy. Rose Montoya shared a video on TikTok that captured the moment she pulled down her shirt to briefly flash her breasts.

This happened while standing between two shirtless men in front of the Truman Balcony. As the Pride flag hangs in the background, a bystander is heard saying. “Are we topless at the White House?” Critics have blasted this incident as an ‘international embarrassment.’

How did the White House respond?

The White House responded to the incident quickly and took a decisive stance against trans activist Rose Montoya for going topless. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre labeled the act as unacceptable and unfair to others.

Other spokespersons called Montoya’s behavior inappropriate and disrespectful. The White House has released a statement regarding the incident to express their collective disappointment.

They clarified that such conduct does not align with the purpose of the event, which aimed to celebrate LGBTQ+ families and foster inclusivity. As a result, trans activist Rose Montoya and the others featured in the video would not be invited to future White House events.

The ban serves as a clear consequence of the trans activist’s actions. Political commentators believe that it highlights the importance of adhering to basic etiquette and respect when attending events at the White House.

Social media reacts to Rose Montoya’s White House Controversy

The White House Pride party incident inevitably led to heated discussions on social media platforms like Twitter. While conservatives welcomed the ban on trans activist Rose Montoya, they still seem upset over the fact that the White House entertained such guests.
