Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy – What we know so far
After Trine 3’s ambitious but ultimately unsatisfactory venture into full 3D back in 2015, Trine 5 returns to the series’ traditional 2.5D side-scrolling perspective. Fans of the series are excited about this though this game, at first glance, may not seem to stand out from the others.
Gameplay
- Trine’s puzzles, which focus on utilizing the special skills of the series’ wizard, knight, and thief main characters such as heavy lifting, block conjuring, and hook grappling, are still entertaining today.
- Players will once again control the three recurring heroes of the Trine series. Your job is to pass obstacles and engage in combat with opponents. You will be in some breathtaking settings in Trine 5. Players will be trying to save the Trine universe from an evil duo.

- Expect significantly different gameplay between simultaneous co-op, where there is more room for sophisticated interactions, and solo mode, where switching between heroes is required to move forward.
Character Abilities
Trine 5 has some new twists, starting with the three characters’ new skills like:
- Amadeus the Wizard: Reverse gravity.
- Zoya the Thief: Ricochet arrows.
- Pontius the Knight: Throwable sword (may be used to form improvised ledges or to hook a rope onto to make a useful bridge).
