Nicholas Galitzine is now taking over the social media trend after Starz dropped the official trailer for the upcoming historical mini-drama series Mary & George. Sure, there may be big stars in the preview, like Julianne Moore, but the British actor effortlessly takes everyone’s attention due to his several controversial scenes. Why? It’s because the 29-year-old has once again taken a gay role.

All About Nicholas Galitzine

Nicholas Galitzine has been in the entertainment business since 2011, but his first role came in the 2014 movie The Beat Beneath My Feet with Luke Perry. He was also part of the film’s soundtrack, proving he also has a great singing talent.

From there, the actor continues to make a name for himself, appearing in an episode of Legends, starring in the drama High Strung, and playing the role of a young, closeted gay in the comedy-drama Handsome Devil. With his great talent and promising future in the business, he was dubbed Star of Tomorrow.

Galitzine continuously conquers the small screen with his TV projects, like The Changeover. He has also worked with some of the greats in the business, such as Anjelica Huston in The Watcher in the Woods, and played his first major TV role in the Netflix horror drama series Chambers.

Other projects he did are The Craft: Legacy, the musical film Cinderella, the Netflix movie Purple Hearts, and Bottoms. He even released his debut single, Comfort, in June 2022. But, it was in the gay romantic comedy film Red, White & Royal Blue that Galitzine’s career took off, playing the role of the fictional Prince Henry of England alongside Taylor Zakhar Perez.

Now, fans are about to see more of him again as a gay character in Mary & George. He’s also set to appear in The Idea of You opposite Anne Hathaway.

His other ventures are as a model, being named as Fendi’s first global menswear ambassador, and even modeling for the luxurious brand’s Menswear Fall/Winter 2023-24 global campaign.

The Controversial Scenes of Nicholas Galitzine in Mary & George

Once again, Nicholas Galitzine has proven he’s the prince of gay roles in his new historical drama, Mary & George. The series has now dropped its official trailer and revealed the sensual and shocking scenes of Galitzine as George Villiers.

Based on Benjamin Woolley’s non-fiction book, The King’s Assassin, it tells the true story of a mother and son as they try their best to gain power in King James I’s court.

The over-a-minute trailer begins with Mary, played by Moore, introducing her son, George. As George asks his mom if she has already found a wife for him, she reveals they have aimed higher: King James.

As a sensual scene begins, George can’t help but say that this world is full of monsters. “If I were a man, and I look like you, I rule the f****** planet,” Mary says as she uses her son to manipulate the court.
