Today, the Esports World Cup Foundation unveiled its goals for the biggest prize pool in esports history, which will be given away at the inaugural Esports World Cup this summer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The prize pool is an incredible $60 million USD. This historic figure surpasses the previous record of $45 million USD achieved by GAMERS8 in 2023, signaling a new esports record.

How to Join the Esports World Cup
- Esports World Cup invites pro gamers and teams to compete. Special events and direct invites are required for qualification(details coming soon).
- Stay tuned to the official Esports World Cup website and social media accounts for registration and event-specific updates.
- You must participate in qualification events organized by partnered publishers and event organizers to earn a spot in the main tournaments. The events may vary depending on the game you wish to compete in.
When and Where to Watch
Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh will host the event in July and August. Watch the action on Huya, YouTube, and Twitch. More than 20 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, and more, will be able to access the broadcasts.
Since the Esports World Cup is offline, all competitors must travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What Happened to GAMERS8?
In December 2023, all GAMERS8 channels, including its website and social media accounts, transitioned to the Esports World Cup.
