  • King James started with the Cavaliers, got his first two rings with Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013, and is currently with the Lakers.

1. #33 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

  • Nonetheless, this legend, leading this list is no other than Lakers’ Center, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who produced 38,387, and still the highest number of career points in NBA history!
  • Moreover, the Big A played 70 games in which he made 40+ points in those match-ups.
  • Lastly, this legend lists in the top ten of Defensive Rebounds, Rebounds, Blocks, Personal Fouls, Free Throws Attempted and tops the Field Goals Attempted and Made categories, respectively.

A Big Possibility in the NBA All-Time Scorers’ List

Whoops! But, we’re not just done yet!

  • With just around a thousand and three hundred difference from the top all-time scorer, Kareem, in the NBA history in this list, LBJ is quite near to snatching the top spot.
    • Let’s do quick math for this one! Say, there are 82 games in an NBA league season, while James’ average points per game in NBA 2022 is 30.3.
    • If LBJ (let’s assume, although he can actually do it) continues to stick to his average PPG of 30.3 next season, there’s no doubt that King James can take the all-time scorer title here in the NBA history!

Maybe we should hear it from one of the most respected and best players in the NBA, Shaq. As he shared in an interview on what ‘maybe LeBron’s plan is.’ Shaq mentioned that LBJ’s plan is to probably pass up Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

LBJ passed up Bryant and Jordan on the list, and he holds four championship titles (rings!) as of this time. And O’Neal stated “If that don’t make him a great basketball player is… I don’t know you know what we’re talking about.”

Shaq even mentioned that James made his own mark in the basketball world (he sure did!), and surely does not want to be compared to other superstars in the leagues.

In addition, the NBA world would definitely be in awe and will really shut up when King James is NBA’s All-Time Scorer in the next season!

So there you have it, NBA fans! Any thoughts on the NBA’s All-Time Scoring List, and the possibility of a new All-Time scorer? Also, you may view NBA’s All-Time Categories Ranking here!
