Yesterday, following the airing of the 23rd episode, it was announced that Urusei Yatsura Season 2 will be arriving in 2024. It was revealed that the series would consist of four cours (46 episodes), with the first two cours being aired consecutively.
The 1981 television anime adaptation of Urusei Yatsura was produced by Kitty Films, Studio Pierrot, and Studio Deen, each contributing in different capacities. The remake of the series was well-received by fans of the manga and the 1981 anime, as well as new audiences.
