Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 3, ‘The Fundamental Virulence’ was a continuation of the fight between Hitsugaya and Bazz B along with Soi Fon and BG9. Only for Urahara to interrupt the fight with his method to get the Bankai back. Kurotsuchi doesn’t like this interruption but ends up agreeing with Urahara’s theory. He hollowfies the captains with the help of a shadow pill.
This helps them in getting their Bankai back. We see the introduction of Shinji to the battlefield against Bambietta. He uses his Bankai, Sakashima Yokoshima Happofusagari against her. Soi Fon also uses her Bankai against BG9. We get brief glimpses of Madarame, Yumichika, Shusei, and Captain Komamura as well. As the Captains return to their original strength, Yhwach gives the Quincies a mysterious power-up.
