As of late, there are reports that Adele has confirmed the claim and the latest is that she subtly verifies it at a comedy club.
Adele Allegedly Talks About Marriage with Rich Paul at a Comedy Club
The celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi claimed that two audience members at Alan Carr’s Los Angeles comedy show on Saturday revealed that Adele seemingly confirmed the marriage news in a “spontaneous mid-show moment.”
“I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in L.A. tonight, and Adele was in the audience,” one show-goer said. “Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently, and Adele shouted, ‘I did.’”
The claim was then supported by the second audience member, saying the same thing that the hitmaker yelled when Carr asked the said question. “Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended,” the fan continued.
The 35-year-old was said to be sitting behind them with a friend while having a good time. She also had snacks from her security and didn’t care if people could see her at the event. “She was heckling [Carr] — they’re best friends,” they added.
The couple is yet to respond to the issue.
Adele Has Been Seemingly Hinting at Marriage with Rich Paul
Adele has been seemingly hinting at her marriage with Rich Paul as of late. She has always referred to herself as the sports agent’s wife and to him as her husband.
In fact, at her Las Vegas residency show in September, she told a female audience member that she couldn’t marry her because she was straight, and her husband was there that night. When the fan asked if she could try, she responded, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
In another residency performance, she called herself Paul’s wife when discussing sports. At the time, she admitted that she wasn’t the “greatest wife” to her partner as she was having a hard time understanding and embracing American football.
Rich Paul Avoids Addressing Marriage with Adele
Meanwhile, when asked about the rumors about his alleged marriage with Adele, Paul tried to avoid the question and didn’t give a straight answer. CBS Mornings’ Gayle King asked the Klutch Sports Group founder if he should address the English singer-songwriter “Mrs. Paul” when he saw her, to which Paul just laughed and said, “You can say whatever you want.”
He then explained that he and his girlfriend are a good match as they value privacy and keep their relationship private.
“It’s not for the media. It’s not for paparazzi. It’s for us,” he stressed. “We’re in a good space. Happy. She’s superb.”
For starters, the pair started their romance in July 2021 after they were seen together watching an NBA basketball game at the courtside. At the time, a source confirmed to Page Six that they were “100 percent” dating.
Later, Adele confirmed their relationship as she couldn’t help but gush over Paul in an interview with Rolling Stone, calling him “incredible and openhearted.” She even said their relationship was the “easiest” she had ever had.
After just a year, rumors have it that the two are engaged after the mother-of-one was spotted wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her finger. Now, the claims are they’re already married. If the rumors are true, fans will surely be happy for the Easy on Me singer.
The two look very much in love and have been with each other since starting their romance. And though they’re both public figures, Paul’s remark that their relationship is not for the media is true, and they shouldn’t confirm anything. Well, they don’t have to state the obvious, right?
