Genshin Impact: Kuki Shinobu, All We Know So Far

MiHoYo has been steadily expanding the game’s hero pool, and there is a slew of new characters to arrive soon.

There are a few characters who have been officially confirmed. However, miHoYo has yet to provide any specifics regarding Kuki Shinobu, despite leakers dumping various information about the character on the web.

Kuki Shinobu

According to the leak, Kuki Shinobu, a new Genshin character, is in the works. Shinobu is a reliable and trustworthy character, and the Arataki gang’s leader, Arataki Itto, is afraid of her. Other characters in the game have made several references to her. The Shinobu leaks released the following information.

@SaveYourPrimos, a well-known Genshin Impact leaker, revealed new information on their Twitter account, indicating that a few unconfirmed leaks suggest Shinobu is a 4-star heroine who employs the teen girl model, but it’s fairly incomplete at the time, and not much more can be safely inferred.

Release Date

The official Genshin Kuki Shinobu release date is still a mystery for miHoYo, but that hasn’t stopped the Shinobu leaks.
The WFP discord channel has a conversation about Shinobu’s appearance in the game, in addition to the character’s rarity and character model.

Profile

Shinobu in Genshin, according to the leaker, has the body of a child, comparable to Yan Fei and Sucrose.
Genshin Shinobu will presumably wear a mask, and the myth that she uses a kid model stems from Sayu’s voice line, which refers to Shinobu Itto’s little sidekick.
Ubatcha also attempted to decipher a leak mentioning Shinobu in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord channel, stating that Kuki Shinobu will most likely be a four-star character, with Yaoyao and an unknown female kid character under production, potentially making Shinobu a third character.

The rumors of Kuki Shinobu using the child model likely come from two places:

1) Sayu's voiceline calling Shinobu Itto's "little sidekick," and–

Abilities

There have been a couple of leaks that hint she could be an Electro character.

Story Quest

Kuki Shinobu (久岐忍) is the deputy of the Arataki Gang. Shinobu appears to be a more rational and responsible counterbalance to Itto's brazen personality.

She is said to wear a mask.

In Genshin, Kuki Shinobu has a fearless personality, which she uses to help Itto escape imprisonment. Nobody wants to be on Shinobu’s wrong side because an angry Shinobu would make anyone’s life a living hell.
So it’ll be fascinating to see if Genshin’s Kuki Shinobu will be a playable character or not.

Weapons

No leaker has revealed the Shinobu’s weapon, hence it has yet to be determined.
