What happened in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 1?
Akira Tendou sits in his messy apartment, with tired and sad-looking eyes, watching a zombie movie. He tells the story of how he landed a job at his dream company three years ago, but it turned out to be nothing like he expected.
On his first day of work, everything goes smoothly and he starts to have feelings for his coworker, Ohtori. However, he soon realizes that everyone at the company works excessively long hours, even staying up all night for days on end.
Tendou finds himself caught in this exhausting and dangerous work routine, which makes him hate his job but unable to escape from it.
The love confession for the Zombie
- One day, when Tendou wakes up, he finds out that his coworkers have become zombies and the zombie infection is spreading throughout the city.
- Instead of feeling scared, Tendou feels incredibly happy and free because he realizes he doesn’t have to go to work anymore.
Tendou wants to talk to Ohtori about his feelings, but when he goes to her house, he discovers that the CEO is there because they are having a secret relationship. But his boss has turned into a zombie. So, he decides to give his last Thank You and kills his boss in an instant.
When Ohtori shows up, Tendou tells her that he loves her, but unfortunately, she turns into a zombie too. Tendou, feeling sad, escapes and says goodbye to her.
