With Fortnite v25.10 update, you can now be practically invisible and roam around the battle arena stealthily using a Cloak Gauntlet. As fun as it sounds, you need to know where to find and how to use it first. Here, we are going to guide you to find and use the Cloak Gauntlet in Fortnite!
What is the Cloak Gauntlet?
The Cloak Gauntlet is a Mythic item that you can find and use in the third-person battle-royale game Fortnite. This item was introduced in the Chapter 4 Season 3 v25.10 update.
- Cloak Gauntlets, which you can find on the ground and in chests, help you blend in almost perfectly with your surroundings.
- Before the gauntlets cool down, you’ll only be shielded in Kinetic Ore for a brief period of time, but since they have endless charges, you can cloak yourself repeatedly.
Where to find the Gauntlet
Currently, there are two types of Cloak Gauntlet in the game. There is a standard gauntlet and an improved one. Here is how to find them in the arena:
- Standard gauntlets can be found as floor loot or inside chests.
- Improved gauntlets can only be acquired after defeating the Wildguard Relik boss.
We have mentioned above that this Cloak Gauntlet is a Mythic item, which means it’s really hard to find in a match. There is, however, a guaranteed way to get this item, which is to beat the Wildguard Relik Boss.
- Improved gauntlets that can be dropped by the Wildguard Relik boss are more advanced than the standard ones.
- This version is slightly better as it lasts longer and has a shorter cooldown.
- Keep in mind, though, that the boss is also quite invisible, so you need to keep your eyes open to find him.
Follow these steps to find Wildguard Relik boss:
- At the start of the game, head straight to the new area in the Jungle biome called Rumble Ruins.
- Wildguard Relik boss can be found in Rumble Ruins.
- Look for an almost invisible figure who has a slight purple glow.

- You will also get a Mythic MK weapon from him.
How to use the Gauntlet
Users of the Cloak Gauntlets may virtually disappear, blending in with the deadly Fortnite environment almost perfectly. You must first equip the Cloak Gauntlet in order for them to function.
The standard and advanced Wildguard Relik gauntlets are different in terms of how long you can use them and the cooldown of the use.
- Standard Cloak Gauntlet has 20 seconds duration and 30 seconds cooldown.
- Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlet has 30 seconds duration and 20 seconds cooldown.
You can utilize Cloak Gauntlets by pressing the fire button while wearing them, doing so will temporarily make you almost undetectable. You’ll be able to move a little more discreetly during this period. However, equipping a weapon will immediately end the invisibility effect.
The Cloak Gauntlets can still be very useful for helping you reposition or slip past enemies you don’t want to be fighting right now even if you can’t use weapons while invisible.
