As mentioned, there is only one military base in Grand Theft Auto 5. To get to this area, players have to look for it on the borders of Blaine County, San Andreas. Moreover, this army base is home to the US Military, the US Army, and the US Air Force in the world of Grand Theft Auto.
- This military base is called “Lago Zancudo” on the map near the town of Harmony. However, the location is not visible if you use the in-game map.
- But if you look for it through the satellite version of the map for GTA 5, it’s “Lago Zancudo”.

How to enter Fort Zancudo base in GTA 5?
To enter this military base in GTA 5, you need to be ready for the consequences that come with trespassing on restricted government property. Nonetheless, it doesn’t limit the daring players of GTA 5. So if you’re feeling pretty adventurous, here are a couple of ways to enter the army base in GTA 5.
Hop over the fence
Now if you’re the type of player who wants to try being sneaky, you can look for any unguarded fences around the area and hop over them. But you should still be careful since guards will start shooting at you the moment they see you trespassing.
But if you don’t want to do it quietly but still hop over the fence, you can still do that. You’ll need a fast vehicle which you’re willing to lose if you want to use this method. To do this, look for a good vantage point using the hills surrounding the area. Then, you can step on the gas and go as fast as you can so you can hop over the fence with your car.
Use a highspeed motorcycle
If you want to keep it plain and simple, you can opt for using a motorcycle and zoom your way past the guards at the front gates. However, expect that they will open fire as soon as you’re inside since it is a restricted area.
Skydive into the base
And finally, you can do it the Mission: Impossible way. Get a helicopter or plane, make sure you have a parachute, then fly over the base. Once you’re at a good location, jump out and make sure you’re ready for the army to be chasing you down as soon as you land at the base.
But if you want to play it safe, you can also buy one of the hangers in Fort Zancudo.
