The family reunion of GFRIEND members Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, reminded their loyal fanbase BUDDYs of home. On August 5, all six members of the K-pop girl group GFRIEND shared pictures from their recent get-together on social media. This surprising hang-out reignited the endearing feeling among their fans and they soon topped the trending charts of social media.
One of the pictures from the group reunion shows all the K-pop girl group members seated around a restaurant table. The members also shared various images taken at photo booths from their personal Instagram accounts.
The handles of Sowon, Eunha, and Yerin were especially busy with emotional comments after their fans once again saw the members together under the same roof. Many of the fans shared the feeling that they are returning home to family.
BUDDIES react to the OT6 reunion picture of GFRIEND
The ‘MAGO’ singers have continued their bonds even after parting ways from their managing labels and pursuing different ambitions in their careers. On January 15, 2023, the six members got together to celebrate their eighth debut anniversary and once again commemorated their unchanged friendship and bonds with each other.

The members of GFRIEND also commemorated their meeting with endearing captions. Sowon summarized their meeting with ‘ģ¬ė’ orĀ ‘love’ while Yerin replied to the post with ‘Friendship.’ In another image, the latter confirmed that they are indeed having fun.
- Meanwhile, Eunha captioned the image with the number ‘99881234’ referring to a very dear and heartwarming promise that other members responded with equal enthusiasm. The number summarises the emotions that ‘let’s live energetically till we are 99, be sick for only 1, 2, 3, days and die,’ (the number 4 in Korean sounds similar to the word death hence the wordplay).

All the GFRIEND members are busy with their various personal projects. Yerin is preparing for her much-awaited solo comeback Ready, Set Love.Ā This mini-album, following the success of the first mini-album ARIA way back in 2022, will add to her discography and releaseĀ on August 12, 2023.
- GFRIEND’s main vocalist Yuju after her successful solo debut in 2022 with the mini-album REC also returned to the music charts with her second mini-album O in March this year.
- Meanwhile, Sowon is pursuing a career in the motion picture industry. She starred in the horror-comedy series My Chilling RomanceĀ in 2022, as the lead alongside iKON‘s Chanwoo.
- On the other hand, the small line members, Eunha, Umji, and SinB, have formed a group under the name VIVIZ. They debuted in 2022 with their first mini-album Beam of Prism.Ā The trio also recently worked on the OST titledĀ SpoilerĀ for the popular K-drama seriesĀ My Lovely LiarĀ starring Kim So-Hyun and Hwang Min-hyun.
GFRIEND fans who witness the group reunions after their disbandment in 2021 are surprised to see how much the K-pop girl group that debuted in 2015 under Source Music and went viral for their diligent performance ofĀ Me Gustas Tu on a slippery stage, has grown up.
