Megan Fox Ectopic Pregnancy | Actress Reveals Heartbreaking Miscarriage

Megan Fox opened up about the ectopic pregnancy she suffered when she was younger that she had never made public until today. While promoting her book of poems, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, the actress talked about the miscarriage she had and detailed the heartbreaking experience in hopes of connecting with other women who had suffered the same.

Megan Fox Talked about Recent Miscarriage with Machine Gun Kelly

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Megan Fox revealed that she had a recent miscarriage with her 10-week unborn daughter with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly.

“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being,” she told WWD. “I’ve really analyzed ‘why was that? Why was that so difficult for me?’”

Fox there, she remembered the ectopic pregnancy she had when she was younger. But aside from that, several things happened in the past that she chose not to say as it might cause an “uproar,” as she had been through “other similar issues,” though the only difference was that they happened with someone whom she wasn’t in love with.

Hence, the love she has for Kelly only made her recent miscarriage “really tragic” for her, leaving her with “a lot of grief and suffering.” So, to let feelings out, she put it into a lot of writing, just like Kelly did, writing about them in his albums.

He wrote a couple songs about the miscarriage,” she continued. “So, it just felt like something that I could address publicly because it’s been addressed in one way through him, so I have a space to express as well.”

In an earlier interview, Fox told Good Morning America that the miscarriage experience with Kelly put them on “a very wild journey together.”

The 37-year-old revealed she had “never been through anything like that before,” considering she has three kids, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, with her former husband, Brian Austin Green. Hence, it was the most difficult time for them, sending them on a “very wild journey together and separately” as they both tried to understand its meaning and why it happened.

Megan Fox’s Hope to Make an Impact

Meanwhile, talking about Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, Megan Fox revealed that she wrote the book in hopes of connecting with other women who had the same experiences as hers.

She knew that a topic like this should go public because it would hopefully make much more impact than the movie she had been making and the posts she had made on Instagram. In the book, she wrote two poems about the recent miscarriage she had and admitted it wasn’t easy to write about.

However, the Jennifer’s Body star didn’t share details about the circumstances of her pregnancy loss and later made it clear that she didn’t drop the names of the men she wrote about in the book.

Aside from hoping to inspire other women, she also wanted the book to help share how her boys relate to their relationships with women, not wanting them to be like the men she had been with in the past.

“It’s very important for me to raise boys who are able to have a very deep emotional intimacy with their partner,” she said. She wanted them to be honest, transparent, and respectful to the women in their lives. Though it might not happen now due to their young age, she’s looking forward to seeing them in that place as she’s their first introduction to women.

“The way that I love them is going to influence the way they are allowed to love others when they go out into a relationship,” she explained.

With everything that Megan Fox has been through, she wants other women to take inspiration and learn from her experiences. But if there’s one thing she really wants to happen, it’s for her kids to have good relationships with women—far different from what she has experienced.
