MGK Allegedly Upset by Megan Fox's New Book | True or Just for Publicity

MGK or Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are reportedly arguing over the latter’s new book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. Allegedly, the details the actress revealed in her collection of poems didn’t sit well with her fiancé, resulting in a conflict between the two. However, just after this news emerged, the couple enjoyed a “cozy” night as they were said to be working on their romance. So, is this news true, or is it just another stint for publicity?

What Did MGK Say About Megan Fox’s Pretty Boys Are Poisonous?

Pretty Boys Are Poisonous hit the shelves on November 7, containing several entries about Megan Fox’s toxic relationships with men. Though MGK isn’t one of them, she’s reportedly upset that he hasn’t been more supportive of this milestone.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that the singer-songwriter didn’t appreciate that some poems had nothing to do with him.

“They are trying to work through things and are still together as of now, but it has been difficult to get along,” the insider said.

Despite that, the two were spotted enjoying a “cozy” night out at a Puppet Up! improv comedy show in Los Angeles over the weekend. An insider told People they seemed to be having a “date night,” sitting in the back while watching the entire show and looking relaxed.

Aside from being upset by the book, the night out allegedly comes after they had “another big fight,” so they are now trying to work out their relationship.

The tipster explained that the pair has “severe trust issues,” and though things are rough, they’re still trying to make things work. Another source claimed that their relationship is still “on and off.”

Whatever the case, it cannot be denied that MGK and Megan still look loved whenever they’re out and about and whatever issues come out.

MGK’s Reaction to Megan Fox’s Book Probably Just a Publicity

Amid the claims that MGK is upset by Megan Fox’s new book and isn’t supportive of it, the Jennifer’s Body star subtly shuts down the claims when she has nothing but praise for her partner while promoting Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

She thanked him for supporting the book, saying it was an advantage that he’s an artist himself.

“[He] recognizes that he has this outlet where he gets to experience his catharsis through songwriting—where he gets to express his pain in that way,” she said.

Compared to MGK, Megan said she’s only reading someone else’s dialogue, not giving her a chance to go to work to put her experiences and pain into her art. Thankfully, the rapper recognized that Megan needed an outlet for her emotions.

“When you love someone, you’re not gonna deny them their right to experience a relief from their suffering,” she continued.

Hence, with these opposing reports, fans can’t help but think that this is probably just another stint of publicity for MGK’s career or a rumor to make some noise—just like his alleged staged beef with Eminem in 2018.

The Alleged Staged Beef of MGK and Eminem

Remember MGK and Eminem’s beef in 2018? Many believed it was staged. The feud started as far back as 2012 when the My Ex’s Best Friend hitmaker tweeted that one of the greatest rappers of all time’s daughter, Hailie, was hot as “f*ck.”

Though Eminem seemed to have let it slide, he did a diss track, Not Alike, name-dropping MGK and warning him about continuously commenting on his daughter. MGK released a diss track of his own, slamming Eminem on the song Rap Evil.

Eminem fired back in an interview, stressing there were a lot of rappers better than MGK, and he wasn’t even part of the conversation. Though the two seemed pissed off at each other, fans couldn’t help but think that this might be just a publicity stunt.

One factor that makes fans think it’s staged is that the two are both signed to Interscope Records, and their diss songs were produced by the record producer Ronny J., aka Ronald Spencer Jr. Hence, many are convinced that it’s just a move to increase their sales.

Fans should take these assumptions with a grain of salt, as the two parties haven’t confirmed anything about it. However, these seem to be enough proof that their beef was just used to promote their new songs and albums, Kamikaze and Binge, especially since it took Eminem six years before he finally reacted to MGK’s tweet about his child.

Hence, the claims surrounding MGK’s romance with Megan Fox are probably just for publicity to increase her book sales or a rumor to make them the talk of the town again.
