In spite of Sony reassuring people that it is ramping up the production to meet the demand, millions of fans across the world are struggling to get their hands on the much-coveted console. Amidst all that, one guy got a PlayStation 5 from a packet of Doritos. Yes, you heard that right.
Twitter user DOWNS CHICKEN tweeted earlier today that he won a PlayStation 5 from a packet of Doritos. The user received the console today and posted a picture of the same. For those who are unaware, Doritos was running a promotion and giving out a limited number of PS5 consoles via a lottery system. People had to enter the code in the packet on the website to stand a chance to win the console.
While this might seem like once in a lifetime event for many, the user in question doesn’t seem too keen on using the console. He writes in a follow-up tweet, “Can’t wait to play absolutely nothing on this thing.” While some users suggested him to try out Astro’s Playroom, which is free on the PS5, the person doesn’t reveal what he intends to do with the console. Others started giving him offers to sell the console already, which is just a mere implication of the fact that the console is in extremely huge demand. Whether he actually plays on the console or not, that’s a lot of luck right there.
