Rendon Labador is back at it again. The influencer, who is notorious for his motivational rice, questionable statements, and hilarious beef with other influencers, celebrities, and personalities is once again in the spotlight after slamming yet again two of the biggest stars on television – Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.

The beloved noon-time show Its Showtime’s two biggest hosts namely Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have been in a relationship for quite some time now. Last Tuesday, July 25, during the Isip bata segment of the show, Vice and Ion celebrated their monthsary. The video (as shown below), features the pair eating the icing directly off the cake. It seemed pretty normal at first and even had their fans feeling the love in the air.

However, there were others who think different. They quickly took notice of the said act, alleging it to be “inappropriate for television”. One of which is motivational speaker and fitness enthusiast Rendon Labador.
Right after the show aired, Rendon Labador took to Facebook to rant about how inappropriate and immoral what Vice Ganda and Ion did during the Isip Bata segment
More so, Labador thinks that “it should not be tolerated” given that there are kids present on the stage. Known for being a an ambassador of masculinity, Labador even said he “respects the LGBTQ+ community”, but what the mentioned hosts did was unacceptable for him. The influencer slammed the couple even more on his Facebook post. He even compared Vice Ganda to the hated drag queen Pura Luka Vega, who had just been declared as a Persona Non Grata in General Santos, Philippines.
Despite his status, there were some who agreed on Labador’s opinions. The video has already went viral and received mixed reactions from viewers. But, almost everybody thinks it is outrageous. Although there are loyal meme Vice fans, netizens for the very first time – agrees on Rendon Labador’s rants.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda posted a cryptic message on Twitter subtly taking a jab on Rendon Labador and other influencers

In his Twitter post, Vice Ganda explained the distance other influencers can go just to be famous and relevant. Although he did not mention who he is pertaining to, some of VG’s fans believe he is talking about Rendon Labador
“Kung anu ano na talaga ang pinapasok at ginagawa ng ilang tao para lang sumikat no? Yung kahit magpakatoxic kakaririn nila basta makaamot lang ng relevance. How pathetic! Ang sad! It;s not mothering!”
It’s Showtime is a noon-time shot that has been running for almost 14 years. Previously homed by ABS-CBN and starring the liked of Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and many others. But, due to political issues, It’s Showtime had to continue airing in GMA7. The show isn’t new to controversies. For more than a decade, Vice Ganda and his Showtime family has been through ups and downs. But, this time, are they on the wrong here or was it just for the sake of television?
