Fans have noticed the slow disappearance of RIIZE Seunghan from various content of the group after he went on an indefinite hiatus. Recently, the new episode of the group’s YouTube series, RISE & REALISE was uploaded. It usually features all the members but this time it didn’t include any footage of Seunghan. Seunghan went on an indefinite hiatus after facing various controversies. Historically, K-pop idols that have gone on an indefinite hiatus following scandals have dropped out from the group. Due to this, the hiatus was already an unsettling event for the group’s fans but as the controversies weren’t as severe, they hoped to see the star through pre-filmed content.
However, SM Entertainment has completely removed all the shots and mentions of Seunghan from the latest episode of their YouTube series, which traces their journey to the debut stage. The agency has also erased his name from other content such as his highlight from the group’s official Instagram account, removing him from credits, and more.
This has greatly upset their fans who believe that every member is an integral part of the new-gen group. They also believe that all the members should be equally respected and appreciated for their contribution and never isolated in their struggles.

Why fans believe RIIZE Seunghan should return
Seunghan has been facing various allegations and rumors about his character and personality since his debut. He has been accused of smoking, dating, and allegedly visiting a motel while being underage.
He has also been accused of power-tripping (gapjil) and bad-mouthing his contemporary trainee and Idols. However, most importantly his privacy has been greatly compromised in the past few months with various leaks.
In such a situation, fans expected SM Entertainment to protect their artist and criticize the leaks but instead, they announced his indefinite hiatus and promised of thorough investigation of the unsolicited sharing of private images and videos.
As a plot twist, one of the accounts that proclaims to have shared false allegations against the artist stepped forward with an apology. The account @bye_annyeong admitted to using misleading words while sharing alleged opinions of Seunghan’s past classmates.
The user also apologized for their behavior, deleted all the Tweets, and shared a hope that Seunghan could continue with his members. Therefore, fans didn’t expect and felt betrayed to see him slowly getting removed from the pre-filmed content.
As of writing, there are no new updates of RIIZE Seunghan from SM Entertainment and fans are continuing to support the group and artist proclaiming that ‘RIIZE is forever a seven-member group.’
