Meet TWS rumored members from Boys Planet and I-LAND

PLEDIS Entertainment has finally unveiled the first set of details of SEVENTEEN’s brother group and we can hardly wait for their debut. The entertainment label released a teaser video of the group’s motion logo and disclosed its name to global audiences.

The group is called TWS (투어스) which is pronounced in a similar way as “To Us” and stands for “Twenty Four Seven With Us”. Read ahead to find out more details about the group including its rumored members.

If you have been a K-pop boy group fan in the past few years then you will find the rumored members of TWS very familiar. There are reports that PLEDIS Entertainment has been working with the group for quite some time. It is their third group following NU’EST (who debuted in 2012) and SEVENTEEN (who debuted in 2015).

Additionally, some K-pop sherlocks have caught the alleged members filming something in Belgium and recognized them as former contestants of a popular survival show. If the rumors are true then the group will include I-LAND’s Daniel Kim (2006) and Boys Planet’s Lee Daeul (2004).

The group is also rumored to include Trainee A’s members JJ (2006) and Han Jihoon (2006). Other rumored members include Lee Kyungmin (2007), Hanzhen (2006), Choi Youngjae (2005), Kim Dohoon (2005), and Shin Junghwan (2003).

As per the rumors most of the members appear to be 2006-liner, making them 17 and 18-year-olds during their debut. This average age is relatively higher than other new-gen groups.

As per the fans, who are avidly awaiting the debut of the new boy group, the members were formerly called the Pledis Boyz. They also briefly made appearances at SEVENTEEN‘s fan meeting when Hoshi encouraged them to dance to BSS’ Fighting.

The Korean News outlets have further confirmed that the group will debut in January 2024. Their first album is described as a “fresh breeze” showcasing the unique charms of each member. The emoji-fied logo also suggests youthful vibes from the group.

CEO Han Sung Soo, who recently won the ‘Best Producer’ award at MMA 2023 was in charge of the debut album production. Music group Prismfilter, who has previously worked with Baekho on What Are We, SVT’ Dino’s Wait, and BOYNEXTDOOR‘s Fadeaway are also suspected to have worked with TWS on their debut album.

Additionally, HYBE Label’s producer Bumzu had a folder named ‘Pledis Boyz’ on his computer which makes people believe that he will also have some input in the upcoming album. With this star lineup of talented trainees, and respected producers fans can hardly wait for the debut of TWS.
