Earlier this week, Duexmoi published an Instagram story insisting that Taylor Swift and her former lover, Joe Alwyn had tied the knot in 2020-2021. The site stated that they have heard mentions of the ceremony from more than one person but it was never made legal.
The celebrity gossip platform notorious for hoax news did not mention any sources or proof as usual, which can cost them legally this time. Later that day, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine called out the page for their rumors by posting a screenshot on her personal X (former Twitter) account.
“Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor,” Paine firmly stated. She also clarified that there wasn’t any marriage or ceremony of any kind and ‘it is insane’ to post such false news. Further mentioning that stories have caused pain and trauma and the site should be held accountable for it.
