How to easily Hit The Nape with ODM Gear attacks

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be a member of the Scout Regiment in Attack on Titan and become part of the direct Titan battles? What we once thought we would only get to see in anime would finally come to reality, at least virtually. Fans of Attack on Titan know that the ODM Gear is the fundament equipment for Scouts to kill a Titan. We all knew we have to aim for the nape more than any other part of the Titan.

As mentioned, hitting the nape of the Titan target is part of a quest to obtain a free Eren Yeager skin. The update is still relatively new and some players have no clue yet how to complete this task. Others tried on shooting the Titan’s nape with guns or throwing a pickaxe, resulting in a failure. But, the trick to finishing this challenge is through the use of the Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear.

Once you locate one of the Titan targets, aim for the nape using your crosshair. Let out your ODM Gear and let’s do the work. For PC users, after aiming for the nap, press “right click” to release the cables which would allow you to swing towards the elevated part of the Titan targets. As you come nearer to the nape, quickly press “left click” while aiming for the nape. This would allow you to strike and complete the task. Console and mobile gamers may have different controls but it’s the same idea. Note that the ODM Gear can be found as floor loot from the Scout Regiment Footlockers or normal chests across the map.
