How did the rumors of SVT Mingyu and Jeon Somi begin?
The rumors of Mingyu and Somi began after a netizen pointed out the similarity in their Instagram posts. The infamous post is from the release party of Somi’s latest album, GAME PLAN. The party was star-studded, to say the least, with many K-pop idols, including BTS RM, HyunA, TWICE Nayeon and Jihyo, GOT7 Yugyeom, and SEVENTEEN Woozi and Mingyu, among others attending.

This similarity was enough to spin dating rumors of the two stars. Usually, dating rumors begin after some celebrities are seen wearing or carrying matching items. However, in this case, as both the artists uploaded an image where Mingyu was wearing the cardigan, it became a rumor.
