DrDisrespect on Mixer? Only if paid more than Ninja!

Recently the world of streaming has been shaken by the news that Ninja, the stage name of Tyler Blevins, has moved from Twitch to Mixer, Microsoft’s streaming platform. Ninja has, therefore, “abandoned” the 14 million followers of the Amazon platform, ready to start again. Many subscribers have already followed him and have quickly passed the half-million followers on Mixer.

It was evident that a choice of this type was dictated by an enormous amount of money, 50 million dollars to be exact. Is it possible that others are willing to do the same? The answer is yes, and one of them is DrDisrespect.

The Doctor is a face very well known on Twitch, especially for his over-the-top style. In a recent live stream, which you can find below, he talked about a possible move to Mixer.

This is a typical exaggeration of DrDisrespect. The streamer can count on less than four million followers, a figure far from what Ninja has achieved. DrDisrespect is undoubtedly a famous name, but it seems highly unlikely that Microsoft will pay more than the amount they invested in Ninja.

In any case, anything can happen, and the Redmond house could only be at the beginning of its “purchase campaign” to make Mixer a well-known platform within the videogame environment.

What do you think about this? Do you believe that Microsoft wants to bring other streamers in its platform? Let us know in the comments.
