Poppy Playtime Universe: All VHS Lore Tape Location

For those who do not know, Poppy Playtime is a horror puzzle adventure developed and published by MOB Games. It was released on the 12th of October, making it in time for that Halloween season. The game tasks you with surviving the vengeful toys waiting for you in the abandoned toy factory. Within the brief time since its release, it has received a lot of love from fans and has quickly become one of the most trending games of the month.

It has been called one of the scariest latest games by many fans and critics and came out to be quite the surprise. Since the game mostly revolves around puzzles and clues, VHS Tapes play a very important part. There are a total of 21 VHS tapes, and each one offers some clues about what exactly happened in Playtime Co.

Chapter 1:

1. Training Tape: Playtime with Poppy: This tape sits right in front of you on the desk at the very beginning of the game.
2. Experimental Log: Subject 1122: You’ll find this tape on a tilted shelf in the area where you collect fuses for the Red GrabPack.
3. Broadcast: playtime is here!: This final tape of Chapter 1 is located right before the flower door. Look for it on the scaffolding.

Chapter 2:

1. Eliot Ludwig’s Biography: This tape rests on the desk in Elliot Ludwig‘s office near the start of the game.
2. Green Hand Tutorial: This tape sits on the right side of the central control panel within the small factory where you create the Green Hand.
3. Rich Avery: Look for this tape on the far right side of the cluttered storage room.
4. Marcus Brickley: This tape is directly in front of the VCR player you encounter at the beginning of the Barry Cart puzzle.
5. A Huggy Wuggy Song: This tape can be found within the vents you crawl through during the chase with Huggy Wuggy.

Chapter 3:

Non-Secret Tapes:

1. Welcome Message (Playtime Co. Founder): You’ll find this tape after completing the platforming section at the beginning.
2. Safety Video: Playtime Co. Orientation: This tape sits on a shelf in the Toy Production area.
3. The History of Playtime: Look for this tape in the hallway leading to the Green GrabPack upgrade station.
4. Playtime with Poppy (Archive Footage): This tape is in the GrabPack upgrade room, next to the machine.
5. Night Shift Janitor (Security Footage): You’ll find this tape in the Blue Light room.
6. Interview with Playtime Co. Worker (Poppy’s Mommy): This tape is located in the breakroom with the broken vending machine.
7. Prototype Testing: Experiment 1006: Look for this tape in the Testing Area after you solve the Green GrabPack beam puzzle.
8. Giggles Interview: This tape is in the vents leading to the Poppy Pod.
9. Project: Playtime is Back: You’ll find this tape in the Poppy Pod control room.
10. Playtime Announcement (press conference): This tape sits on a desk in the Poppy Pod control room.

Secret Tapes:

1. Farewell Interview (Playtime Co. Founder): This secret tape requires using the Green GrabPack to reach a hidden room behind a vent in the office near the GrabPack upgrade station.
2. Message to Poppy: This secret tape is hidden in a vent you can access after solving the Blue GrabPack beam puzzle in the Testing Area.
3. Lost Catnap Experiment (Unknown Subject): This final secret tape is hidden in a vent accessible after using the Blue GrabPack in a specific spot during the Boss fight.
