American pop star Doja Cat got inked again. The artist debuted her new tattoo featuring a bat skeleton on Instagram a few hours ago. The huge black and grey tattoo fits perfectly on the singer’s back. The 27-year-old, introduced the new addition with very few words, saying:
“‘Don’t explain yourself’ is so corny.”
She also shared the meaning behind the art with a highlighted passage that said:
“Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the beginning of a new beginning.”
Doja got her fresh ink done by tattoo artist Mr. K of Bang Bang Tattoo, Manhattan. The 42-year-old tattoo artist has worked with people like David Beckham, Justin Bieber, Liam Hemsworth, Sophie Turner, and more.
The singer got her first tattoo early this year, and since then the Grammy winner has gotten at least seven more tattoos, including the new one. We’ll look at Doja Cat’s ink in this article.
Doja Cat’s bat skeleton tattoo is her biggest tattoo yet
Doja’s latest tattoo is her biggest tattoo that cover’s her entire back. All of her other inks are comparatively smaller in design, however, all of them seem to have a similar theme. Doja’s tattoos seemed to be drawn with a dark theme, that include devils, skeletons, and insects.
1) Devil cat on inner left bicep
The Kill Bill singer announced her first tattoo on February 5, 2023, on Twitter, when she wrote:
“got my first tattoos today”
She did not reveal the design on social media, but paparazzi caught pictures of the ink at the 2023 Grammy Awards after-party. The singer has a line drawing of a cat devil with a pitchfork on her inner bicep.
2) Spider on left forearm
Doja Cat probably got a spider tattoo on the same day she got the devil cat tattoo. The singer showed off both tattoos at the 2023 Grammys.
3) Antelope skull on left wrist

The singer showcased an antelope skull tattoo on her Instagram stories on Thursday, March 23. She got the tattoo from renowned artist Brian Woo, also known as Dr. Woo.
4) “Differences of Monsters” on both wrist
Doja Cat revealed a new tattoo on April 16 via Instagram. The tattoo features a monster-like character that has woman-like features, a scaly season, a tail, and a horse head.
The singer received major hate regarding the tattoo, with people accusing her of satanism. However, Doja shared images and explained that she was inspired by a Giovanni Battista Bissoni illustration from Italian philosopher Fortunio Liceti called, De Monstruorum Causis, Natura et Differentiis (On the Reasons, Nature, and Differences of Monsters.)
She has a similar image on her right wrist. The only difference is the body on the right wrist had an elephant head instead of a horse.
5) Goat eye on wrist and devil on bicep
The Get Into It singer also has a goat eye tattoo on the out wrist of her left hand and a devil tattoo on her bicep. She hasn’t shared when or where she got those tattoos.
Doja Cat might have more ink, that she still hasn’t shared with the world yet. Considering the artist’s frequency of getting tattoos, we may expect to see more artwork on the singer’s body in the future.
