Spider-Man is one of the greatest Marvel superheroes of all time. It would be true to say that Spider-Man has become the face of Marvel. One reason behind this is how fans of all ages can relate to him as he shares the same everyday life struggles as most of us. The animated Spider-Man series has garnered much praise since its first release. However, speculations around the next edition of this movie, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, suggest that it might be the last Miles Morales movie. Spider-Verse Trilogy
Spider-Verse is the computer-animated spinoff of the Marvel superhero Spider-Man. Until now, there have been two Spider-Verse movies, namely Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse.
- Both of them have done exceedingly well at the international box office. The recently released Spider-Verse movie is one of the highest-rated animated movies ever.
- These movies revolve around a teenage kid named Miles Morales who becomes the Spider-Man in his universe.
It would be an understatement if we say people adore the protagonist of this movie alongside all the cool graphic animation this movie offers. It’s been just a week since the second movie in the trilogy was released, and people have already started counting days for the next one. But since it is a trilogy, will it be the last we’ll see Miles Morales swing into action?
Will Beyond the Spider-Verse be the last Miles Morales movie?
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Phil Lord and Chris Miller were asked if the next movie in this edition will be the last one, to which they replied
“It is the end of the Miles Morales trilogy, and this whole thing is like working towards that. But this has its complete film with a beginning, middle, and end, and Miles starts in one place and ends in another, and all the characters have an arc in this film. But that’s it for us.”
It broke our hearts when he added, “We’re tired.” So long story short, Beyond the Spider-Verse will be the last Miles Morales movie. Look at the bright side, at least Miles is getting closure for his trilogy… unlike other Spider-Men who had their movies canceled (Don’t hate us for that joke!).
What is the release date of Beyond the Spider-Verse?
This animated Spider-Man will premiere in cinemas on 29th March 2024 with its last movie, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. However, we hope the movie isn’t delayed like the last time.
