Demi Lovato's ex Max Ehrich did not rant on Instagram

Demi Lovato’s Ex Max Ehrich didn’t “go through it”

The Young and Restless actor has finally addressed the backlash and teasing after he appeared to have criticized Demi Lovato‘s engagement with Jutes. Ehrich was previously engaged to the Sorry Not Sorry singer for two months in 2020.

On December 20, people started to report that Max was “going through it” after an alleged post by him surfaced online. The post was published on Instagram by an impersonator who stated that the actor doesn’t regret anything as he did everything for love.

The impersonator criticized Lovato’s new fiancé calling him the reason she wouldn’t marry the ‘love of her life.’ He also clarified that by that he means himself (Ehrich) and predicted the lifelong pain Demi will suffer by losing the chance to marry him.

To bring this misleading catastrophe to an end Max took the matters to his verified Instagram account and cleared up that it wasn’t him. In his statement, he clarified that posts are fabricated and cruel. He also highlighted that his relationship with Demi is a privately and peacefully closed chapter and wished the new couple a lifetime of happiness from the bottom of his heart.

Will Max Ehrich sue the impersonator?

The singer-actor hasn’t mentioned any legal actions in his statement. He has only requested netizens to remove him from this narrative and stop giving any unnecessary relevance to the fake accounts and posts.

Previously, Max Ehrich had posted a now-deleted Tweet making subtle jabs at his ex’s engagement. He mentioned that his ring was larger and suggested the couple remain sober. Fans found these Tweets extremely distasteful considering that Demi Lovato has remained vulnerable about her struggles with substance abuse.

The recent posts of Max Ehrich’s Instagram-based impersonator seem to be taking the game that Ehrich started to the next level. However, this issue shouldn’t affect the joyous occasion of matrimony for the newly engaged couple.

Demi and Jutes fell in love while working together on her 2022 album ‘Holy Fvck’ and officially announced their relationship a few months later. They were rumored to have welcomed wedding bells in June 2023 but Demi refuted them stating that she will announce the event herself if it happens.
