Hogwarts Legacy‘s 14-minute gameplay trailer had just dropped a few days ago and it has already shown a lot of great promise. Before Hogwarts of Legacy’s release do you know which house you’re picking?
With lots of Harry Potter fans being hyped by the state-of-the-art gameplay, the game may become a massive hit. The details featured in the trailer are also very delicate and true to the Harry Potter lore.
- Step in the shoes of a wizard/witch who will be studying witchcraft and wizardry in the most prestigious magical school – Hogwarts. Create your path and build your legacy.
- The story will follow you, a new student, who is already in his/her 5th year (you are probably a transferee). As a newbie, the SORTING HAT will still sort you into your proper house.
You might ask, “Can I choose which House I will be placed in?”
The answer is – YES. You may pick the house you want to live with and build around your legacy. If that’s the case, then which House should you choose?

Gryffindor
We all know some of the best characters in the Harry Potter books were from the House of Gryffindor. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Minerva McGonagall, and Albus Dumbledore are just some of the famous Gryffindors. These characters had the greatest impact on the franchise and also had the best path towards a great magical legacy.
Founded by Godric Gryffindor, Gryffindors pride themselves as witches and wizards with great bravery, boldness, and valor. Furthermore, they sometimes become leaders, instructors, or aurors in their later years.

Hufflepuff
The house of Hufflepuff was founded by Helga Hufflepuff. This house is the most low-key dependable house in the academy as they groom their members with a strong sense of justice, loyalty, patience, and a propensity for hard work.
You don’t want to follow the path of Cedric Diggory (spoiler alert, he died in the books), but you might consider becoming a great wizard like Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts).

Ravenclaw
The ever-wise and intelligent witch, Rowena Ravenclaw, formed the house of Ravenclaw as a symbol of wisdom, cleverness, and wit. Witches and wizards from this house are just some of the smartest in their class. Surely, we all loved Luna Lovegood for her quirks and intelligence. And, of course, could we forget Garrick Ollivander? THE GARRICK OLLIVANDER? The famous wandmaker and founder of Ollivander’s? Of course not!

Slytherin
You don’t want to be a Slytherin, even Harry Potter refused to be sorted into that house!
Kidding aside, the house of Slytherin is one of the most looked-up clubs in all of Hogwarts. They are students who are considered with chaotic traits like being highly ambitious, cunning, and resourceful.
We have seen what the Slytherins are capable of. Some of them can become evil and turn to the dark side(Tom Riddle a.k.a Voldemort) while some may become the strongest and bravest wizards there will ever be (Rest in Peace, Severus Snape).
