Time to get those cards ready as Riot Games is bringing us another skinline with out of this world effects. Valorant is getting a ChronoVoid skin bundle with a release date set for this Wednesday, September 21. Our first impressions on this skin line is it looks like a crossover between the Sentinels of Light and the Ion bundles. Of course, its overall design is awesome but the question is, will the new skin be worth its price?
Ever since its release, Valorant has been known for releasing weapon skins that add more style to your game. Although it doesn’t add a buff to your weapon stats, I’m speaking from personal experience when I say that certain skins do give you that so-called “skin buff”. Let’s take a closer look at Valorant’s newest bundle, the ChronoVoid.
Should you buy the ChronoVoid skin bundle in Valorant?
Valorant skins come in all shapes and sizes. Some have special effects triggered when you inspect them or you land the last kill, while some don’t add anything new to your loadout. Bundles like the ChronoVoid skin line in Valorant can be classified in the Exclusive Edition (XE).
Similar to all the bundles released in Valorant, the skin will only be applicable to selected weapons in Valorant.
- The only common thing these bundles have is they give you a free Melee if you buy the whole thing.
- You also have the option to buy the Melee separately but in our opinion, you’re just wasting Valorant Points (VP) by buying the Melee separately.
Weapons included in the bundle
Here are all the weapons that are part of the ChronoVoid skin bundle in Valorant:
- Melee
- Sheriff
- Judge
- Phantom
- Vandal
Each gun will have three variants you can unlock with the use of Radianite Points. The Green, Red, and Black variants of the guns also require unlocking corresponding levels which will give you the effects that make this bundle special.
Levels
Based on the levels you purchase, you’ll unlock visual effects, custom ADS reticles, and a unique firing audio based on the gun you use.
- Level 1 – Custom model; custom ADS reticle; custom bullets
- Level 2 – Custom muzzle flash visual effects and firing audio
- Level 3 – Custom equip, reload, idle, and inspect animations, effects, and audio
- Level 4 – Kill Banner and Finisher
Price and release date
Since the ChronoVoid skin line belongs in the XE tier, players need 8,700 VP to purchase the entire bundle. You also have the option to purchase just one or two skins from the bundle, but it’s honestly not worth doing that.
By purchasing the entire bundle, you get all the following freebies:
- Exclusive Player Card
- Gun Buddy
- Exclusive Spray
Not to mention, you won’t have to break the bank if you want some of the gun skins and the Melee, too. Melee skins usually go for almost 4000 VP if you catch them being sold individually in your store. That’s almost half the price of the ChronoVoid bundle.
Final verdict: is the ChronoVoid skin bundle worth buying?
It’s not every day that we get a bundle in Valorant which features skins for both the Vandal and Phantom. So to answer that question, yes, the ChronoVoid skin bundle in Valorant is worth buying.

We mentioned earlier that the skin line looks like a mashup of the Ion and the Sentinels of Light skins.
- If we go back to when both skins were released, only the Phantom had an Ion skin while the Vandal got the SoL design.
- Players who have been wanting an Ion Vandal or a Sentinels of Light Phantom can somehow make those dreams come true with the ChronoVoid skin in Valorant.

The Melee for this skin line is also one of the highlights since it’s honestly one of the best Melees we’ve seen so far.
- The Melee for the ChronoVoid bundle is called the Terminus A Quo
- While equipped, it looks like a floating sphere straight out of a sci-fi movie
- The sphere immediately changes into a blade if you start attacking
We highly suggest you get the ChronoVoid bundle once it becomes available in Valorant starting September 21 and we expect it to be replaced with another bundle after two weeks.
It’s time to finally say goodbye to the Champions 2022 bundle now that LOUD is crowned the VCT Champions. Along with the Champions 2022 bundle, Riot is also removing the Kohaku & Matsuba collection from the store.
